You have interesting family members of course, that helps. ;-) What a difficult choice indeed for Annie to leave one family and start another in such an unorthodox way. I hope she was happy with her choice. It's sad to think she might have regretted it. I hope like in America was kind to her as well as life in England to her first husband and children. It must have been an ordeal for all to deal with. <br /><br />One branch of my husband's family are Hindles from England. I know that is probably a common surname and off the top of my head I don't remember what area of England they were from.
