Sepia Saturday 212 ~ Snow Abound

We have been lucky so far this winter. It has been very wet rather than snowy. Personally I would rather have it cold that wet. Either way, here is a look back at yesteryear!

This is from my Guildford & District Collection & is Farnham Road Guildford (Hogs Back) on 28th December1927. Brr!

Taking part of Sepia Saturday

  1. I guess somebody was stuck for awhile.

  2. Good thing someone took a picture. Most times they just wanted to uncover things!

  3. I would never have recognised the location so I'm glad you said where it was.

  4. You are lucky to have a snow photo dating back this far, from my experience family members restricted their snapping to the sun and the seaside.

  5. That really is buried. I remember winters in southern Iowa where snow covered fences and machinery.

  6. I would not want to be in that car! But cool photo!
